Dedicated to creative expression in all its forms, I find inspiration in our emotional connection to people, animals, places, and cherished objects.
As a child I enjoyed drawing and calligraphy but as I got older I took art less seriously, abandoning it altogether once I started working for a living. I started creating again in 2013 using graphite in 2013. My favorite subjects are people and animals. I now enjoy working primarily in soft pastel, charcoal and watercolor.
I do my best to subtly reflect the feeling I have for the subjects I wish to paint. Nothing is more important to me than capturing that emotion and getting the light "right" and I believe they must both be present for a painting to succeed.
